The exciting vacancy of Assistant Front Office Manager has arisen at the five-star Firmdale Hotels. Reporting into the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 11 Supervisors and Guest Relations Agents. The role involves deputising in the absence of the Front Office Manager and supporting them to drive room’s strategy ensuring leadership and encouragement to the Front Office team in order to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations. Your role also entails being responsible for planning the forthcoming arrivals and departures of guests to ensure maximum guest comfort and satisfaction is achieved at all times, through providing five star services.
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel experience or management experience in a similar role, and excellent guest care skills, standards driven, and the ability to lead and manage a team. They will also have experience in planning and forecasting rotas in accordance with business demand, and the ability to follow up all guest complaints and enquiries, ensuring that guests are responded to within 24 hours in the appropriate manner. The ability to train employees in brand and departmental standards is desirable.
The hours of work are on a shift basis five days out of seven including weekends.
