Job Description

Company:

Our client is the market leader in Saudi Arabia in the National Dress Category for men.  The company distributes either directly or through partners across all major cities in Saudi Arabia and GCC Markets.  The Company’s National Dress for Men (Thoubs is a mature category (a cash cow) for the company that requires further development through innovation.

 

Duties:

MARKETING

  1. Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of:
    1. A comprehensive marketing, communication program that will enhance the brand image and position within the marketplace in all markets we operate in.
    2. Facilitate internal and external communications relating to marketing activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition and so forth.
  2. Plan and execute all new product development in the Uniforms Category
  3. Monitor market trends and news for both domestically and internationally
  4. Plan, develop, and manage product specifications to match consumer needs, product market intents, and production limitations.
  5. Identify new business opportunities in the Abayas and Head Covers (عباءات وغطاء الرأس).
  6. Plan and execute all sales supporting material such as brochures, presenters, and kits
  7. Develop, coordinate, and oversee programs, commercial technical assistance, and resources materials to assist the sales team in the marketing, communications, and positioning of their activities and products.
  8. Identify, plan, and conduct all marketing and sales research projects whether they are consumer or industry based.
  9. Plan and execute all trade promotions.
  10. Organize on behalf of the all trade exhibitions both locally and internationally.
  11. Work with other teams in developing the branding strategy
  12. Leads projects as assigned relating to marketing

 

PLANNING AND BUDGETING

  1. Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing and communications function.
  2. Keep informed of developments in the seafood industry to use this information to help the organization operate with initiative and innovation.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY

  1. Work with senior Sales and Marketing Teams to:
    1. Develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on corporate objectives and marketplace dynamics
    2. Ensure the overall health and vitality of the Brand

 

  1. Help make sure that the organization’s philosophy, mission, and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.
  2. Keep informed of developments in Uniforms fashions

 

PLANNING AND BUDGETING

  1. Responsible for the achievement of marketing and communications mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensuring that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress bother internally and externally if needed.
  2. Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
  3. Recommend short- and long-term organization goals and objectives to the Director of Marketing.
  4. Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing and communications function.
  5. Keep informed of developments in the seafood industry to use this information to help the organization operate with initiative and innovation.

 

QUALIFICATIONS - Required

  1. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing and communications activities.
  2. Market knowledge of latest fashions and trends in the Uniforms Category Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal professional skills
  3. Experience developing and managing budgets
  4. Experience in hiring, training, developing, and appraising team members
  5. Demonstrated successful experience writing reports, making presentations and negotiating.
  6. Computer literacy in word processing, data base management, and page layout
  7. Commitment to work as team leader and as a team member
  8. Strong oral and written communications skills
  9. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at a time
  10. Able to out-of-town travel and overnight travel
