Job Description

Nair Systems is currently looking for System Automation Engineer  for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Information Technology

    Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Retail Automation in a similar or bigger organization.
    ·Minimum 3 years’ experience in commissioning and configuring state-of-the-art POS Cash registers in C-Store and Petrol Stations


  • Certifications in Comptia A+ or Network+  (preferable)
    ·Technical certification in fuel dispensers, ATG and site controllers from Gilbarco or Wayne is an advantage

Job Specific Skills:

Highly knowledgeable in PC Hardware and Network configurations
Knowledgeable in troubleshooting basic electronic equipment problem
Knowledgeable in Windows 10 and Windows Server Administration
Technical experience in Forecourt Devices (e.g., DOMS Site Controller, Gilbarco Fuel Dispensers, Veeder Root ATG Consoles, Auto Carwash, OPT, etc.)
Knowledgeable in Industrial Electricity Standards (can interpret electrical plans).
Knowledgeable in different Serial Communication Protocols
Knowledgeable in troubleshooting basic electronic equipment problem
Knowledgeable in creating databases and reports in Excel, MS Access
Knowledgeable in project management and technical report writing
Excellent physical health with no pre-existing chronic medical conditions.
Ability to communicate in English
License to drive in Qatar
Selected candidates must be willing to take extra hour/s to work if demands


Job Description/ Job Responsibilities

Plans and coordinate the procurement of materials to ensure the availability of equipment
Arranged transport materials/equipment from one location to another including processing of transfers in Oracle EAM
Compiles and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, receipts, reports and status and location of materials.
Clearly identified non-conforming items received and with correction action is to be determined by the office. Informed the Procurement Department if defective items or incorrect quantities are delivered and if any are found to be poor quality.

Responsible in monitoring the inventory of automation assets in the petrol stations and in the warehouse
Fix repairable equipment as spares and service units
Maintain the automation test laboratory and conduct the test for simulations of issues and before performing an upgrade


Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)
