The Applications Analyst / Developer will be responsible for gathering Business requirements from business units and end users, analysing these requirements, setting and designing solutions architecture, the development of software applications/solutions, testing, implementation and maintenance of client's IT Applications and solutions portfolio. Also he will be responsible of the release management of his code and deliverables, and he should be able to manage projects with excellent project management skills. This job requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with highly skills in coding and programming. The Applications Analyst / Developer will be required to review and provide technical solutions to projects which may be in different stages of the development life cycle. also to be able to write BRD, functional specification and technical specification documents. should have the needed knowledge of IT Governance and policies and procedures such as audit, compliance and risk and the actions may be required to be taken. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
The Applications Analyst reports to the Sr. IT Operations & Services Officer and confers with the latter on critical issues.
? Key decisions having significant impact on system administration are referred to Manager of IT for approval before implementation.
? The IT function is responsible for directing, developing and managing the successful implementation of the IT Strategy for client by leading, directing and managing the IT Department in order to meet the requirements of the business and support both external and internal customer needs.
? Always review Compliance requirements and be Compliant to QCB and other regulations.
